Obituary

Larry G. Bettcher was born October 8, 1938 in Aurora, IL. He passed away peacefully on May 2, 2015 surrounded by his family at his North Aurora home.

Larry worked for Northern Illinois Gas Company for 40 years.

He was an accomplished painter, an avid bow hunter and fisherman, a drummer in a bag pipe band called "Tunes of Glory".

Larry never knew a stranger.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survived by his beloved wife Susan.

Father of Heidi (Michael) Givan of Carmel, IN and Daniel Bettcher of North Aurora, IL.

Son of the late Freida and George Bettcher.

Grandfather of Jameson, Grayson, Peyton, and the late Alyssa Renee Givan.

Brother of the late Bess (Erwin) Bauer of Casa Grande, AZ and the late Pamela (the late Robert) Hall of Aurora, IL.

Brother-in-law of David (Diana) Sponholtz of Grayslake, IL.

Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
