She was one of the most notable people you could ever meet. Her caring nature transcended any presumptions made about her, and her lovingness was felt most strongly by her family. She was a magnificent mother, a wonderful grandmother and a profound mother in-law. Her exuberance and curiosity were but a few of her most beloved traits. One of her favorite pastimes was initiating conversation about whatever it was that had peaked her wonder that day. Her insatiable curiosity carried into the fact that she was an admirable scholar; well versed in languages and music. Her ability to teach these subjects with such clarity is what made it possible for her eight year old granddaughter to learn the veena in a starkly different modern society.
More so than her eloquence and intelligence, she was devoted to those she truly cared for. No less than thrice a day, she would check to make sure everyone who shared the household with her had eaten properly, and were well rested. Her relentless compassion carried through even throughout her most sickly moments. She had lived a life of great beauty and dynamic, and may her parting be filled with the same loveliness she will be remembered for by her family.
