Obituary
Robert Burt Young, age 88 of Streamwood, passed away January 11, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Jo Ann Young; loving father of Burt (Peggy) Young, Jo Ann Young and Robert (Shannon) Young; cherished son of the late Albert and Ethel Young; proud grandfather of Allisun (Justin) Donnelly and Natalie Stalhut; fond brother of the late Beverly Johnsen, the late Rev. Jerry Young, Patricia (the late Kenneth) Koleman, John Young and the late Carl (Jane Rae) Young; dear uncle of many. Robert was involved with his church and children’s clubs. He loved to read and enjoyed history.
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Community Church (1000 S. Springingsguth Road, Schaumburg) on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 11 AM. The service will be streamed via Facebook Live for those who wish to attend virtually.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s name to the church to help with gym renovations.
